Volunteering Opportunities

Mothers' Union have various volunteering opportunities both in our central office in Westminster and locally in our dioceses.

Diocesan Volunteering

Our dioceses are looking for volunteers to help on various exciting projects in and around UK. For example, if you live in the Carlisle area you could assist with the pram club for tots up to four years old, accompanied by mums, grans, carers, dads meet twice a week 10-11.30am.

If you are based in the Bristol area, you could volunteer with the Bristol Children’s’ Hospital: “Friends for Parents” helping to provide practical support and friendship to children in hospital and their families and friends.

Enquire about possibilities in your local area and often, previous experience is not required.

Head Office Volunteering

We appreciate any help volunteers can give with the administrative tasks in our central office in Westminster. You could volunteer within our publications team or assist with liaising with our workers on various projects. You must be able to use the computer very well and be comfortable talking to people.

If you have a couple of hours to spare why not email and find out what opportunities are available. Please email jobs@themothersunion.org for more information.

The work will be varied and you will be helping us reach our members locally and worldwide whilst gaining experience in a dynamic and devoted charity doing all it can to make a better world for families.
