Wheels Appeal
Our 2010 Wheels Appeal, now running, is a lot of fun – we’re baking cakes and holding cake stalls, teas, garden parties, picnics and baking sales! Perfect for sunny weather and family fun for your whole village, community or church!
But it also has a serious aim: we’re raising money for vital aid transport. Mothers’ Union worldwide transport budgets have been cut by 60% in the global recession. Without it, they can't run their family support projects, or get crucial aid to the families who need it.
So join us making "cakes for brakes" or "flans for vans", or perhaps "biscuits for toolkits" Click here for more information and a printable flier to get people baking in your local church, school or Mothers' Union group!
Posters for your event are the essential ingredient, so people know that the money from their cakes or teas is going to Mothers' Union aid work. And we have them ready to send you for free - just email us here or call 020 7 222 5533.
