Mothers' Union is at the heart of countless local communities all across the world, making it uniquely able to respond to humanitarian disasters and times of great need. With networks of Mothers' Union workers in 78 countries, food supplies, medicines and other emergency aid can quickly be bought locally and distributed to those most in need by people already on the ground.

Most of the families spend several days without anything to eat. Most of these children have dropped from school due to hunger.
